Questions
A Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is an advanced-practice clinician trained to diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe medication and provide ongoing psychiatric care.
Our focus is psychiatric evaluation and medication management. If therapy would help, we're happy to coordinate with your therapist or refer you to one.
Initial evaluations are about 60 minutes. Follow-up visits are typically 20–30 minutes, depending on your needs.
Please give at least 24 hours' notice so the time can go to another patient. You can reschedule through the booking portal.
For most people, yes. Research shows video visits work well for psychiatric care, and many patients find it easier to open up from a familiar space.
